I am a fully insured and registered practitioner with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I regularly attend conferences, workshops and seminars and subscribe to medical journals to keep up-to-date with the very latest in nutritional research.
Gut health impacts so much more than our digestive system.

Working together for a set time period is the best formula for success as a 'one-off' appointment is unlikely to help you make effective changes. I am 100% committed to helping you achieve your best possible results and in return, I ask for COMMITMENT
I use testing to assess the GIT tract therefore each client can see for themselves what’s happening on the inside of their body and what may be the connection with presenting symptoms, so we can get to the root problem.

Yes, Lots of nutrition professionals offer dietary support and advice online and over the phone, and this can be beneficial for clients who cannot attend face-to-face sessions
A nutritional therapist assesses a person’s nutritional needs to achieve optimal physiological function. This means the maintenance of homeostasis, a position of wellbeing we all seek, but many fail to achieve. Nutritional therapy is not a one pill wonder: it is a change in lifestyle to bring your body back to optimum health. Although you may see some immediate improvements it can take the body time to come back into balance.
It’s important to remember that nutritional therapy is not intended as a substitute for medical advice and if a practitioner identifies any 'red flag' symptoms indicative of a serious health issue, they will refer clients on to an appropriate medical professional.
During your initial consultation we focus on:
MYMOP FORM – Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile, where we assess your main symptoms
We look at – Previous medical history, Prescription medications – past and present, Herbal and natural supplement, Family history. We dig deeper into our body systems – such as gastrointestinal tract, nervous system, endocrine function, reproductive systems, allergies and immunity, respiratory tract, urinary tract, cardiovascular system, musculo-skeletal system, skin. We discuss food intake.
We discuss compliance with the initial plan and achievements, successes, challenges and how we can move forward.
The initial consultation is £85. Follow up consultations are £55. Or there is an option of buying a package for £175 (this includes 1 x initial consultation and 2 x follow ups) The package option is the most popular and is also the most successful in helping clients attain their desirable results. The package can be spread over 3 months which helps motivate clients to become committed to new lifestyle changes and achieving long term results.
Alternatively, I am available for one off, 30 minute consultations (cost £30) Please follow the link on the homepage for the 'free consultation'
There is no specific quantity or rule on how many consultations you will need. This will depend very much on your personal circumstances and what your health objectives are. Clients ask for advice at different stages of their life for different problems.
It is advisable to have specific test done because this will help us to dig deeper into your health concern and eliminates any guess work in our nutritional protocol. Testing show us what’s going on internally, and we can target specific areas. These functional tests are comprehensive and provide great overview how our body works. Certain, more simple tests can be done through you GP such as assessment of vitamin D status, Ferritin levels etc.

"I consulted Martina following a flare up of diverticulitis. I realised that I needed to alter my diet to a much healthier and balanced one but I needed help and guidance on how to begin to make these changes. I followed Martina's advice on which supplements I would benefit from taking and on how to alter my diet and, from the start, I've noticed improvements in my digestive system and overall well-being. Martina is friendly and approachable, offers practical advice tailored to your own circumstances and encourages you to keep going, at your own pace, with the changes you are making. Her guidance has enabled me to change my whole approach to my diet and lifestyle that has resulted in making me feeling the healthiest and happiest I have in a long time. I found Martina to be friendly and understanding and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs help and guidance with their nutritional and dietary requirements."
